2010 viimane päev/The last day of 2010

Sain toredaid autogramme. Kohtusin mõne suurepärase inimesega. Nautisin.
So this year is soon to be over. It was a marvellous year. I spent my birthday in Rome (and a week in Italy). I got to visit, well re-visit, Scotland (after Ireland my second dream land). I received autographs. Wonderful autographs. Met some nice people. Enjoyed. Lived.

Just left to hope the coming year will be as nice.

"Oh, the weather outside is frightful…."

Snowstorm Monika (why give it that silly name?) is frolicing outside :) I can`t wait for the sun to come out. Well, I know it will not shine since it`s overcast, but it would be light enough to go hunting for pretty snowpictures :) It is winter wonderland outside. I love that weather. (It would be nice if I were able to get out of my garden as well, but oh, well...)

Lovely :)

Another brilliant Jane Austen adaption

I lost my heart to yet another fictional character, Mr. Knightley. I have seen three adaptions of Emma this far, the latest starring Jonny Lee Miller and Romola Garai in the leading roles. This is definitely my favourite. This is possibly my favourite adaption of Jane Austen`s novels. Or period novels all together.

The first two parts were brilliant indeed. But I was hopelessly lost half way through the third episode, when Mr. Knightley said "Will you dance, dear Emma?" The dancing scene is one of the best/cutest scenes I have ever seen. The way he looked at her, my heart melted. And from that moment I was mesmerized. The ending of course being the icing on the cake.

The characters were perfect. Blake Ritson made so funny Mr. Elton not to mention Rupert Evans, Louise Dylan, Michael Gambon, Tamsin Greig and all the others. And Romola was so lively, it was like I could see her thoughts. Though Jonny Lee Miller was gorgeous and the reason my heart is lost.

So, hoping to find a guy who would look at me like he looked at her, my Mr. Knightley :)
