I finally got to see The Battle of the Five Armies. Major effects and a nice summary to the Hobbit trilogy and prequel to Lord of the Rings. But that is not what this post is about obviously.Thranduil as portrayed by the talented Lee Pace was .. to melt for. I have seen the first Hobbit film but not the second one. He appeared in An Unexpected Journey but then he did not catch my eye for some reason. But he is amazing. I have never liked men with long hair. Thranduil on the other hand is (well, technically Lee Pace) gorgeous.
